Microsoft Admits to Copying Asian Site

Plurk is a website exclusively to Asia. It's basically Asia's own Twitter. While Twitter is available in other countries, Plurk is the dominant microblogging service for those folk.

Mirosoft recently released a site called MSN Juku beta, which is a similar microblogging service. A third party vendor was designing it for Microsoft. Plurk was very upset with Microsoft's creation because it claims they copied code from the site of Plurk and copied the overall design. As you can see, the two sites are extremely similar by the screenshots below.

So Microsoft responded by posting a blog post saying that they are looking into the issues. Well, Microsoft recently responded by saying IT'S TRUE!!!!! The third party vendor admitted to copying code from Plurk. Microsoft acknowledged this whole heartedly and realized that this is against Microsoft's terms. So, access to MSN Juku beta has been suspended, which is a respectable decision in my opinion.
