CES Review: Motorola Backflip
The new Motorola Backflip was unveiled at CES 2010. It's a brand new Google Android phone with a very unique design, and you might pick up a hint or two from the name of the phone -- "Backflip". As you can see, Windows Mobile is very nonexistent in new phones as Google Android quickly takes over the mobile operating system market.
The Motorola Backflip gets its unique name from it's clever design. Instead of some phones with full QWERTY keyboards that open like a book, this device opens like a book as well but simply backwards. It has a 3.1" touch screen on the front and then on the back of the device is a full QWERTY keyboard plus a camera that acts as a front-facing 5MP camera with flash when flipped open from the back. It has a full browser, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headjack, and 2GB of built in storage.
Motorola did not announce a specific network, but network compatibility specs deeper into the phone are pointing to the possibility of the Backflip being on AT&T.
