McGraw-Hill CEO Confirms Apple Tablet
In an interview with CNBC tonight, McGray-Hill CEO Terry McGraw confirmed that Apple will release a tablet device tomorrow. I'd like to say that you've killed thousands' of peoples' hype for tomorrow and you sir, are no fun. We all knew it would be a tablet, but there was that 1% chance that it would be something so different and so extraordinary. Steve Jobs even quoted tomorrow as one of the most important things he's ever done.
He explains that the tablet device will be able to read e-books and that it will be based on the iPhone OS. That's basically all he said, but it was apparently enough since he name jumped right onto the Twitter trending topics list within an hour of the announcement. The video is below (go to a little after the half-way mark). Hopefully, Steve Jobs will still have further details to reveal tomorrow that will impress us all. Oh, and I wouldn't be surprised if Jobs has a red laser on McGraw's forehead right about now.
