Facebook implemented it's own version of "retweeting" something on Twitter. But it only works for links.

Simply go to a post with a link, and next to Comment and Like, you now find Share. Click that, and you can post it to your profile or send it as a message. Underneath your own optional comment, it says "via" followed by the friend that originally posted it. You can't repost any friends' videos, photos, status updates, etc. Links only.

Facebook is beginning to get its own knack for copying some Twitter features, but credit is given for at least changing up some things to make it they're own.
