AOL Lifestream Separates from AIM

As TechCrunch very nicely puts it, this is what Google Buzz should have been. AOL has launched Lifestream, a part of AIM since AIM 7.0 as a standalone product now in beta and available at lifestream.aol.com. You'll be able to see loads of different services combined into one stream and update your status for all of them too. It's actually a very nice product and AOL is moving forward nicely with it. I might even start using it.

You can log in with your AOL/AIM account or even with Facebook using Facebook Connect. Lifestream supports nine different services including:

- AIM
- Facebook
- Twitter
- YouTube
- Digg
- MySpace
- Foursquare
- Flickr
- Delicious

Plus, they have separate applications for iPhone, Android, and Mac or PC. Their video demo is provided below. Props to you, AOL. Props to you.
