Mozilla Ends Support for Firefox 3.0
Mozilla officially announced that it will be putting support for Firefox 3.0.x to bed and will be releasing Firefox 3.0.19 by the end of the week as its last update. They are urging users to upgrade to Firefox 3.6, the latest version after Firefox 3.5.
Mozilla originally wanted to drop 3.0.x in January, but since Firefox 3.6 was released later than planned, support for 3.0 lasted longer than planned as well. Also, at the end of February, Mozilla was forced to release updates to 3.0 to stop a zero-day exploit.
For those of you still using Firefox 3.0, now would be a good time to upgrade to Firefox 3.6 or choose another browser such as Google Chrome, Safari, or uh... Interne-- nope! That's it. No other browsers.
