Apple has finally refreshed in MacBook Pro line of notebooks, after much speculation the past few days. Some odd changes have been made to certain MacBooks, but the highlight of this refresh is that the Macbook 15" and 17" now have this year's latest Intel Core processors, the Intel Core i5 and i7. The 13" MacBook Pro still has the Intel Core 2 Duo processor from last year. Strangely though, the only notebook that offers the super-fast i7 processor standard is the high-end 15", the 17" comes standard with i5.

There's also better battery life now as well. The 13" MacBook Pro can get up to 10 hours on a single charge and the 15" and 17" can get between 8 or 9. With that battery life, it's also pretty impressing that there's better Nvidia graphics chips with the 320M made especially for the 13" MacBook Pro.

Another unique option this time around is that the 15" display can get an enormously high resolution. It comes standard with 1440x900, which is already pretty high, but now you can also get 1680x1050 squeezed into that for an extra $100. My 17" HP is only 1440x900, so for a 15" to have all of those pixels crammed into that space is incredible. Anti-glare options are still available too.

The 13" MacBook Pro starts at $1199, 15" models start at either $1799, $1999, or $2199, and the 17" MacBook Pro starts at $2299.
