Bitts Mobile Gets Completely Redesigned

Bitts Mobile Gets Completely Redesigned

Many of you probably didn't already know this, but Bitts does actually have a mobile website that is compatible with iPhone and Android phones. Now, in an effort to make our mobile website better, Bitts Mobile has been completely redesigned and has been generated by WidgetBox. We realize not many of you will actually use the mobile version on a daily basis, but it is provided for ease of access just in case you wanted to check your share of tech news on the go.

So the new version adds several new features. First of all, it now looks more like an actual iPhone application. It has four different pages: Articles, Twitter, Facebook, and Share. Articles debuts our most recent articles. Twitter and Facebook give you access to our most recent posts to those sites. And Share lets you share the site via Twitter, Facebook, email, or text message (SMS).  On top of the design changes, Bitts Mobile is now also compatible with the Palm Pre.

So, any iPhone, Android, or Pre users can type in techbitts.com on their mobile phone now and get redirected to the mobile website for easier browsing. Try it out and be sure to send in feedback!

How do you do top stories???
  5. George Tinari April 14, 2010 at 3:55 PM
Just use HTML to input the title, URL, description, and image.
  6. Julian April 15, 2010 at 7:57 AM
And how do you know, what article is in the top stories???
  7. George Tinari April 15, 2010 at 1:39 PM
The number of clicks each article receives determines a top story. That, or the priority of the article which can be based on past user interaction.
