Teaser Pics of a Major Twitter Redesign
Doug Bowman, head of Twitter's design team, posted a photo on Dribbble, a site that allows developers and designers to post "sneak peek" type images that can give hints at upcoming projects within a 120,000 pixel limit. This photo was of a complete Twitter redesign.
About a month and a half ago, Twitter engineer Alex Payne tweeted about upcoming features to Twitter that would possibly put desktop clients to rest. Could this redesign coincide with the new features Payne talks of in that tweet?
In the redesign screenshot above, we certainly see a more streamlined look to Twitter, but there's also some new stats. Apparently, this redesign will display the number of days a user is on Twitter and how many tweets a user broadcasts per day.
