Microsoft Begins Rolling Out New Hotmail
Almost a month after announcing new features coming to Windows Live Hotmail, Microsoft yesterday announced that they had begun rolling out those new features to Windows Live Hotmail Wave 4. This version of Hotmail really seems to focus on cleaning up your inbox and making common tasks easier. In a blog post, Mike Schackwitz, of the Windows Team Blog wrote:
You may start seeing the new features in your inbox as early as today, features like the new Sweep menu, the freshly integrated Office Web Apps, huge new attachment limits up to 10 GB using SkyDrive, and the ability to create and send photo albums right from Hotmail. If you don’t see these features today, please hold on just a little while longer – everybody will be upgraded this summer. He also points out that certain features such as Office Web Apps will initially only be available in certain countries.
