Photos of the Motorola Droid 2 Surface
Surprisingly, the Droid 2 doesn't really look all that different from the Droid. They keyboard is much more roomy though and you can now type by feel. Also, it has a less blocky design and a little bit more curve to it. It still has the annoying lip underneath the touch sensitive buttons though. See below the photo for leaked specs.
Droid Life were the ones who got their hands on these photos. Apparently, the Droid 2 will feature Android 2.1 (cue the cries of Froyo fanatics) and an updated version of Motorola's Android UI named Motoblur, which Droid Life claims is less intrusive than what's seen on the Backflip. As for the leaked specs, Droid 2 is said to have a 3.7" screen, 750MHz processor, WiFi tethering, 8GB internal storage with an 8GB SD card preinstalled, the updated keyboard as mentioned above, and a 5MP camera. The only thing disappointing there is the 750MHz processor. It seems like the mobile world is moving toward 1GHz and 750MHz already puts the Droid 2 slightly behind.
The Droid 2 is rumored to have a Q3 release.
