CNET conducted a test recently that used four different phones on four different networks and did some very informal upload and download speed tests in four different areas of New York City. On AT&T they used the iPhone 4, on Verizon the Droid X, on Sprint the EVO 4G, and on T-Mobile the Nexus One. Out of all four locations in NYC, T-Mobile came in first with the fastest speeds in the most places with AT&T in second, Verizon in third, and Sprint in last. It's worth noting though that while these are informal and far from scientific tests, it is what the user will experience day to day. The video is below. Any thoughts?
