The technology is finally here to spoil us all just a little bit more, and that is the technology to insert batteries into a device in any direction and it will just work. The technology has been conjured up by none other than Microsoft, who has in the past been criticized for lack of innovation. Normally, when inserting batteries into a device, you'd have to look for the + and - signs and match them up with the insertion slot accordingly. Now, with Microsoft's InstaLoad, since both sides of the slot have both a positive and negative charge, it won't matter which way you insert the batteries. Just insert them and forget all about it!

Hopefully manufacturers will adopt this soon and hopefully Microsoft will actually market it well enough for them to do so. Could we see InstaLoad in devices in 2011?
