Leaked Screenshot Shows Upcoming Gmail Redesign

A screenshot posted by Google Operating System blog reveals a some design changes that are expected soon for Gmail. One of my biggest complaints for Gmail is that it's simply not nice to look at, especially compared to the simplistic style of Hotmail. It's nice some changes are finally being made. As you can see below, there's a Report Issues drop down menu (probably for the beta), as well as a drop down menu next to the account email address. This could probably lead to a menu for settings or even to switch an account.

Further below that are the Mail, Contacts, and Tasks options that are moved up top, followed by what is now a button to compose a new message, and your folders. Underneath chat there is a new and interesting option to "Call Phone" and I can't help but wonder if we may see some Google Voice integration coming. To the right, there's not many changes for the inbox but there is a drop down menu for selecting messages, but its contents remain unrevealed. What do you think?
