Strategic Move By Apple or Coincidental Conan O'Brien Fan?

Some of you may know by now that Apple's Senior Vice President of iOS signed up for a Twitter last night and now already has over 22,000 followers as I type this article. He still has not tweeted yet, but he has been online since his creation. Since then, he has changed his small bio to "SVP of iPhone Software to SVP of iOS" as well as followed one person. That one person is Conan O'Brien. So, being the unenthusiastic simpleton I am, I went ahead and clicked onto Conan O'Brien's Twitter account and sure enough, I found this tweet that was posted just 24 hours ago -- before Scott's account was revealed.

Of course this is a joke, but it does prove that Conan O'Brien is in-the-know about the "design flaw" in iPhone 4, as some may call it. Doesn't it then make it very odd that Scott Forstall of Apple would follow just one person, and that one person's last tweet happened to be about a flaw in the iPhone? It seems like if anybody will be doing any talk of antenna issues from Apple, it's going to be Scott. And it very well may be on his Twitter account.

Update (10:22p ET): Apple is holding a press conference Friday about the iPhone 4.
