Survey Says! iPhone Users Love AT&T
In a survey this week taken by Yankee Group, some surprising statistics were found about AT&T. 73% of iPhone users are "very satisfied" with AT&T's service. That's extremely contrary to what you might hear all the time on the internet. I can't help but reference an article by MG Siegler that could probably go down in history as one of the most discussed technology rant of all time that thrashes AT&T at every opportunity.
Including all phones on AT&T, 68% of customers said they are satisfied with their AT&T service and 69% of all smartphone users on all carriers were satisfied with their provider. An AT&T spokesman, Mark Siegel, did have something to say about these findings:
There's a gap between what people hear about us and what their experience is with us. We think that gap is beginning to close. It doesn't mean we're perfect; we still have work to do. But that's no surprise to us, because we have a great network. On top of this, 77% of iPhone users said they would buy another iPhone, opposed to 20% of Android users that would buy another Android-based device.
