AppleInsider is reporting that pre-orders for the new Mac Pro configurations are beginning to ship. One reader sent in that their Mac Pro is scheduled for deliver on August 24th. The models are expected to be delivered within 5 to 7 business days, but can run you $4999 for the 12-core Mac Pro.

These Mac Pros were announced along with the new iMac and new Magic Trackpad back in late July. The LED Cinema Display also got a refresh, but has yet to be available.
