The new Apple 27-inch LED Cinema display was originally announced a couple months ago and is now available in the Apple online store. It features a 178-degree viewing angle and a 2560x1440 resolution display plus iSight camera, microphone, and multiple external connection options. Oh yeah, and it comes with a price tag of $999. That's right folks. You are going to be paying $1000 for this. That means if you get a Mac mini and the LED Cinema display, you'd be paying at least $1700 when the lowest end iMac -- which is still pretty powerful -- is just $1200. Yikes!
