Google Chrome 6 has officially launched, but don't celebrate just yet -- Chrome 7 will be here in just six weeks. Google is now on track to deliver a new version of Google Chrome every six weeks, which is twice as fast as before.
Google Chrome 6 delivers a few new features and user interface changes. There is now form autofill to automatically fill in your personal information that you opted in to save for online forms, syncing of extensions and autofill data on top of bookmarks and settings in previous versions, increased speed and stability enhancements, and some nice changes to the UI. First off, there's now a gray tint to the browser instead of the previous blue. Yes, Chrome finally looks a little bit more like chrome. Plus now there is only one menu. Both Page and Tools menus have been consolidated into one single Tools menu. That can be good or bad.
Chrome 6 can be downloaded right
here, but don't get too comfy because 7 is right around the corner.
