9to5Mac and many others are now getting tons of tips that the new iPod Touches are now being shipped out. Above is an example of the shipping notification many are receiving this morning, and apparently the new iPod Touch should be due in as early as September 14th.

Apple announced the new 4th generation iPod Touch on September 1st at their music-centric event. Steve Jobs on stage revealed the new Touch to have a retina display, front-facing camera, FaceTime, rear camera with HD video recording, Game Center (iOS 4.1), and more.
