Apple Announces iLife '11 Available Today

At today's "Back to the Mac" Apple event, Steve Jobs introduced a brand new version of iLife, iLife '11. iPhoto, iMovie, and GarageBand have all been updated.
iPhoto now has a new full screen mode, Facebook sharing enhancements, email sharing, many new slideshow themes, and many new features to create photo books.

iMovie adds plenty of new audio editing options, quick one-step effects, new sports and news themes, a movie trailer feature, and finally People Finder. People Finder will quickly allow you to identify people in your videos, similar to in iPhoto for your photos.

GarageBand gets a bunch of fine-tuning features such as Groove Matching for checking rhythm, guitar and amp effects, and a "How Did I Play?" feature to analyze your rhythm, tune, etc. Other features include FlexTime and new piano and guitar lessons.

iLife '11 is available immediately for new Macs beginning today and a $49 upgrade for existing iLife users.
