Have you been waiting for Apple to make this announcement? What about Verizon? Both are wrong. Fortune Magazine spilled the beans this morning in an article titled with: "Get ready for Verizon's 'Dream Phone'" in which they explained they have confirmed that Verizon will be getting the iPhone in early 2011.

If this turns out to be true, as many now suspect, Apple could potentially sell nearly 9 million iPhones in 2011. In comparison, Apple has sold 22 million iPhones in the U.S. since its initial release back in 2007.
