HTC Evo Shift 4G Rumored for CES Launch
The sequel to the HTC Evo 4G, known as the Evo Shift, is rumored to be announced at this year's CES. It's been cleared by the FCC so we know it exists. Android Central has dug up an upcoming Radio Shack magazine that advertises the Evo Shift to be available on Sprint starting January 9th, which is coincidentally the last day of CES. As for the features, the big one is a slide-out QWERTY keyboard this time around that would probably add a bit of thickness to the phone. No other specs are known at the moment, but you can probably expect the 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 5 to 8 megapixel camera, front facing camera, and I'd imagine the same large 4.3" display. The Radio Shack ad lists the price to be only $150 with a two year contract, so for the price it's possible that some of the features may be on the lower end of the scale.
