HTC Evo Shift 4G Gets Official
CES announcements are already taking place. As heavily rumored, the HTC Evo Shift 4G will be the little cousin of the current Evo. It too will be available on Sprint, but for a smaller price of $150 with a two-year contract of course. For that price you do get a sleek physical QWERTY keyboard, but with many trade-offs. The large 4.3-inch screen of the Evo has been downgraded to 3.6, 1GHz processor down to 800MHz (which still probably gets the job done), and the lack of a front facing camera. This is what I like to call an entry-level smartphone, so if you are in the market for one, grab it. If you're a power user, the Shift may steer you away.
