Motorola has posted a video to its YouTube channel that shows off the unique new features only available on their upcoming Motorola Atrix 4G phone that will eventually be on AT&T. The star of the show is the ability to dock your phone into a custom-made laptop or television and view all of your content and even use the phone, just on a larger screen.

I think the television docking feature is definitely a nice addition to the phone, but I'm not really seeing the benefit of docking it into a laptop. It's supposed to be so that you get your content onto a larger screen. The problem is almost anything you can do on a smartphone can be done on a laptop without having to dock the smartphone in. Plus if you wanted to text message or make a call, why would you want to do that on a laptop anyway?
