Apple announced this morning that users managed to download apps over one million times from the Mac App Store yesterday, which was the day it launched. The Mac App Store launched with 1,000 apps both free and paid in the store ready for download, some of these being iterations of popular iOS apps such as Flight Control and Angry Birds. In the PR, Steve Jobs says he's "amazed at the incredible response" but we all know Apple saw the success coming. I'm just surprised people were able to wake up on time to get downloading.
