Report: Apple CEO Steve Jobs Has Only Six Weeks to Live
A terrible report, and one that's hopefully false, is in today by the National Enquirer stating that Steve Jobs has only six weeks to live. Apparently, he has been diagnosed with coronary disease and pancreatic cancer.
In 2004 he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and successfully fought his way through it. In 2009 he took a medical leave and it was later discovered that he had a liver transplant. A month from yesterday, he announced another medical leave from Apple for unknown health reasons.
For now, current reports remain unconfirmed. On a positive note, Steve Jobs did attend a meeting with President Barack Obama last night in San Francisco to discuss technology and innovation with many other top silicon valley CEOs like Google's Eric Schmidt, Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, and Twitter's Dick Costolo. He's at least well enough to attend meetings, which points to the possible unlikelihood of these recent reports.
