RIM has announced today that the BlackBerry App World will be offering in-app purchases that will be processed using its own payment system. Android also announced this functionality earlier today. This new feature on your BlackBerry will come packaged with other features in version 2.1 of the app store. This version is now live for all. Developers have had access to the SDK since January 5th.
