Google Demos New Features of Android 3.0 Honeycomb
Google is demoing new features of Android 3.0 Honeycomb live at youtube.com/android. Honestly, there isn't anything that you wouldn't expect. I'm not really too happy about the new user interface. It looks like it's going to be very confusing for beginners and easily cluttered by power users. There are some very nice 3D graphics (not pop-off-the-screen) that are showcased in games, maps, and a new app called Google Body. That actually looks very interesting, but it's obviously not a must-have unless you like to explore anatomy in your free time.
They are also demoing a new CNN news app for Android. Obviously this has nothing to do with The Daily unveiling this morning. A feature called iReport in the CNN app will allow a user to capture a photo or video and send it in to be viewed by others on the app. And oh look at the one of the top stories today.
