If you haven't heard about it, Qwiki is an online service with the slogan of "The Information Experience". This is because you can browse millions of topics on Wikipedia, and get information on that topic summed up and explained to you via audio as you browse through relevant photos and videos. It's sort of like a mini movie based on whatever you are researching or interested in. It's still in the alpha stage, yet the startup is already looking for ways to expand the technology behind Qwiki. One of the ways I really found to be unique was the iPhone app that could wake you up with an alarm every morning and give you the date, time, weather information, and your schedule and any reminders for the day. It's like having your own little digital servant.
