After nearly a year of delay, the almighty white iPhone is finally available beginning today. It's been delayed a total of three times since last June, perhaps why this is such huge news. Alas, this is not a new iPhone, but a regular iPhone 4 painted in a very clean white on the front and back. Steve Jobs and Phil Schiller told CNET's Ina Fried the reason for the delays was to make sure all the sensors would work and how the color would last on the device, among other things. If you plan on buying a white iPhone 4, do so now. Just keep in mind that the iPhone 5 is expected sometime around this September.
