With the Apple Tablet device, the rumors are simply never over. Keep in mind, that Apple hasn't even announced any type of touch screen device at all. And still, we have rumors and sources saying that it's coming and even with rumored details.

Previously slated to be announced in January, it's now said that it may be announced sometime in the beginning of Spring - March or April. Other details say that it is to have a 10.1" LCD touch screen. This is the most common rumor for screen size, so if a tablet comes out at all, this is likely to be the case. So what will it do? The main rumors are that it will be able to read books and news from top publishers, but also act as a media pad for all music, television, and other things on iTunes. Or, the weakest rumor at the point is basically a Mac with touch capabilities.

Price tag? The strongest rumor as of this week is $1000. If so, that is a hell of a lot of money. $1000 to read some books and listen to some music and watch a movie or two? No thank you. But let's keep in mind some paid a hefty price tag for one of Apple's more recent successes right at its launch...

Anything shiny and made by Apple pretty much doesn't need a price tag. But will a tablet disprove this highly used phrase? Depends on what it does... oh and depends on if it even comes out at all. Yeah, that's a big factor actually.
