As if we thought that Apple's MobileMe service wasn't useless enough, Apple just gave all of its subscribers a big middle finger along with a "Take that!" For $99 a year, the service allows you to sync everything you do anywhere on your Mac, PC, and iPhone. Say you add a calendar entry on your phone, it's then put onto your Mac or PC using cloud computing so everything is up to date wherever you are.

Well, apparently, it's experiencing an outage. Users that weren't already frustrated with paying a hefty price for a small service are now crushed at the idea that nothing can be synced together. Oh no, now I need to add a calendar entry in two places!

While Apple has high expectations from a good reputation of making quality products and services, MobileMe has failed in the eyes of the public for being way too expensive for such a small concept.
