Google Chrome 4 Beta - Extensions and More

Google Chrome 4 Beta - Extensions and More

It's certainly been a positive week for Google so far. Today the big news is the release of Google Chrome 4.0 public beta. The big news in 4.0 is support for extensions and addons like Firefox. It's also, of course, faster than 3.0. And finally support for Mac and Linux operating systems.

Finally with this new operating system support, Chrome could possibly get a boost in their market share. If I'm right they have about 5% in America. I say we kick Safari right out of the market, because it's truly the second worst browser next to Internet Explorer.

PS - I have an extension installed to alert me of Facebook notifications. Love it. Download the new beta at chrome.google.com. Make sure you take note of "beta" -- it may be buggy. But enjoy the new features!
