Verizon recently declined to be involved in any part of the Google phone, Nexus One. The media is absolutely confused. Why would Verizon ever decline a phone especially after not getting the iPhone. So as for a smart decision, Google will keep the phone online and unlocked, but it will only have a GSM receiver, only compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile.

So users will be able to choose one of the two and then sign up separately once they receive they're phone--and once it actually comes out. But we truly are blinded as to why Verizon would decline the phone. Could it be that they are getting the iPhone soon and it got to their heads already? But they are still airing the iPhone commercials making fun of both the device and AT&T.

Either way, Verizon, bad move. BAD move.
