Last night, Google's Nexus One phone pricing was leaked. Thought you were going to get a Nexus One and be the supremo tech kid? Hah! One look at these prices and it's off to the app store to search for an app entitled "how to get the Nexus One unlocked and under $550".

You heard me. The Nexus One will supposedly come in two pricing schemes. One is unlocked, able to use it on any carrier (or possibly just T-Mobile and AT&T). That big boy is $580 smackers. The second one is a much more reasonable price. If you buy it with a 2-year T-Mobile contract, it slims down to $180. But there are some other rules that apply to the buying process, which are way too expensive and complicated to even discuss. As for data plans, it seems there's only one option. $79 a month gets you unlimited data, texting, and 500 minutes. Not bad.
