An inside voice on Apple has confirmed that Apple will hold a special event on January 26th that will focus on Apple's mobile offerings. Could this mean that Apple will be announcing the iPhone to finally come on Verizon like most people hope and dream?

Or could this mean that there will be something "mobile" about the still-unannounced Apple Tablet? iSlate? iGuide? Whatever you want to call it for now. DigiTimes reports that Apple ordered a load of 10-inch screens and that they would be ready to ship in a device by March or April.

As I also reported days ago, Apple told developers to prepare their apps to run in a bigger resolution on a bigger screen to be demoed at an upcoming event in late January.

What could all this mean? We must wait until January 26th.
