The trend at CES this year seems to be going 3D. 3D televisions, 3D camcorders (that are huge), 3D projectors. The world is going 3D. Unfortunately, you still have to wear 3D glasses in order to get the full effect, and a show or movie must broadcast in 3D to even USE the glasses to get the effect at all, but it's a sure advancement. Plus, technology is already being worked on to possibly have 3D televisions without any need for glasses.
