iPhone May Come to Verizon After All!

As reported by Hot Hardware, the iPhone may be leaving the exclusivity deal with AT&T as announced on Wednesday at Apple's grande event. This is just a rumor, but if it proves to be true, it doesn't necessarily have to be on Verizon. At least one other carrier will probably partake in iPhone's sweet goodness. It could be Sprint and it could be T-Mobile.

If the iPhone were to leave exclusivity, it's predicted that sales would double. That's a lot of money in Apple's pockets. Speculation points to Verizon as a likely carrier for the iPhone, but keep in mind that it would be on both AT&T and Verizon. Apple certainly would not strike another deal with somebody else. The only problem is that Verizon's network is not compatible with iPhone. Verizon and Sprint use different radio signals than AT&T and T-Mobile. Plus with all the feuds on TV with Verizon bashing the iPhone, it would be undignified for Apple to go to the people that bashed them.

But still, money talks. While it's just a small rumor, it's something to think about. We'll all find out on Wednesday.
