Verizon and AT&T Cut Prices

Verizon and AT&T Cut Prices

Both Verizon and AT&T announced today some price cuts on their voice and data monthly plans.

Verizon has a unlimited talk plan for $70 a month now, as opposed to the previous $100. The unlimited talk and text plan is now $90 a month. AT&T has matched both of their prices, and on top of it, unlimited talk and data for smartphones including the iPhone is now $100 a month.

This does not change unless existing customers change their plan to the updated one, and the new plans will be available to new customers starting Monday. Is this still the feud between Verizon and AT&T or is it because of T-Mobile's low unlimited plans?
