Mission Repair has gotten their hands on an iPad and they decided to take it apart completely. This resulted in an unexpected slot at the top of the iPad that seemingly looks like a camera slot, where a little video conferencing webcam could go. Take a look.

Odd enough, when Mission Repair ripped out a MacBook and took apart its webcam, they placed it in the iPad and it made and absolutely perfect fit. So a perfectly-fitting webcam plus hidden support for a camera in the iPad's OS (iPhone OS 3.2)... it seems like we didn't learn EVERYTHING we needed to know about the iPad at the keynote last week.

It looks like either Steve Jobs has a few more announcements to make... or a webcam will come in the next iteration of the iPad. Either way, all signs point to a webcam coming to the iPad eventually.
