MWC Review: Samsung Wave

MWC Review: Samsung Wave

Samsung introduced a brand new smartphone at MWC this morning called the Samsung Wave which features its very own operating system designed by Samsung called bada. That's with lowercase letters, no typos here. Damn you if you use any capital letters in that OS name!

The device itself, called Samsung Wave or S8500, is well equipped. Besides a 1GHz CPU, it has a 3.3 inch, 800×480 pixel AMOLED screen, a 5 megapixel camera, 2 or 8 GB of storage space (expandable via microSD memory cards), and aGPS. When it comes to connectivity, it supports WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and 3G. Finally, it’s great at chewing multimedia content, with support for MP3, WMV, DivX and XviD.  -- Mashable
They really emphasized the ability to multitask on this phone, and it even supports more than 512 MB of RAM according to Engadget, which is astounding for a phone. The phone is early and probably not fully developed yet, but the prototype is looking to please whenever it is eventually released.
