Nexus One Coming to AT&T 3G Soon
Currently, Google's Nexus One phone is only compatible with T-Mobile's GSM network bands. Unlocked for $529, it works with AT&T's network but without 3G, meaning 2.5G or EDGE.
It is reported that Google is making a phone to be compatible with WCDMA I, II, and V which is what AT&T's 3G network uses. So this means that the Nexus One will soon be fully compatible with AT&T's network, possibly before the arrival of compatible for Verizon and Sprint coming in Spring 2010.
This doesn't exactly mean that Nexus One will be offered at the $179 price that comes bundled with the phone when on T-Mobile's network. You may still have to purchase the phone unlocked at $529.
