As posted on Bitts' official Twitter and Facebook yesterday, exciting new features were coming to Bitts soon. Today, we're announcing support to become a member of Bitts through Google Friend Connect.

Google Friend Connect is a service that will enable you to join the site, view other members, see their Google profile and interests, and interact -- for free, of course. You can even login to Google Friend Connect using your Twitter, AIM, Google (obviously), or other current accounts on other services.

Right now, there is only a Members gadget for you to join and view other members, but eventually our plans are to build more of an interactive community here on Bitts. After you join, you will be able to create a public profile for yourself. Plus, if enough of our almost 550 subscribers sign up to be a member, we will start a Newsletter option to be sent to email addresses. If you already have a Google Friend Connect account, you will not need to go through the whole sign up process again.
