Discover New iPhone Apps on Facebook
Apple has made a nice new App Store fan page for us, which is really unique. You can become a fan and actually discover different apps in the app store on the fan page. There are different tabs and it brings on a whole new iTunes experience. They have Featured, Games, and Search & Share. Under each category, there are different modules for top apps, app of the week, etc.
It's a really fun way to discover new apps and view Top Charts and other fun things. What blows me away is you can even search for an app right from the Facebook page.
It seems like Apple is really serious about connecting more with social networking. Back in September when they revealed iTunes 9, it added support to share music and apps on Facebook or Twitter. Now they are going a step further. Become a fan here or go to facebook.com/appstore.
Oh, and have you heard about Apple's rumored iGroups social networking patent that could possibly lead to a future app on the iPhone? Sweet.
