Google Acquires Online Photo Editor, Picnik
BREAKING: Google has announced that it acquired Picnik, the free (or premium if you choose) online photo editor and one of the most popular photo editors out there. Google said that it will not be announcing any new drastic changes to Picnik yet, but will be working hard to integrate new features.
For now, Google recommends you head over to picnik.com and import some photos from Picasa web albums or Facebook and get editing! Google must have many good plans for Picnik, and will probably integrate it a lot with Picasa, Google's own photo storage and editing service. Oh and of course you will probably be able to log in with your Google account.
Picnik has also announced that it is very excited for the acquisition, as they will be able to reach more people and have even more potential.
