Look for "HD" Apps on Your iPad
Last week, Apple began accepting applications that were modified for the Apple iPad's larger screen, which by the way is coming out April 3rd. It seems that there is a clear trend that developers are using to make their iPad-specific applications more prominent to users browsing the app store. Developers are labeling their applications as "HD" or "XL" in order to tell the difference in size. I would also hope that when iPhone users go to download one of these apps, they get a warning that its incompatible.
Also, earlier, Apple leaked a new iPad app on apple.com which was then later removed. In the list, Labyrinth 2 was displayed followed by Labyrinth 2 HD which is presumed to be the larger-scaled version of the app. Others include Flight Control HD, Plants vs. Zombie HD, and NBA Hotshot HD.
