A magazine confirmed that Steam, created by Valve, will soon be available on the Mac. Steam is a gaming platform that has been for some time only available on the PC for Windows XP, Vista, or 7. It serves up popular games such as Bioshock 2, Assassin's Creed II, Mass Effect 2, and Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2).

Apparently, the April 2010 edition of GameInformer magazine is to confirm that Valve intends to start a beta of Steam for Mac, and that it is planned to be released in May. Plus, they will create easy migration from Steam for PC to Mac, and PC users will not have to re-download or repurchase any titles they already have.

Valve has also previously released some teaser advertisements using the Mac's old and new advertising schemes to promote Steam for Mac.
