Twitter has decided to unveil a new home page look today that they are testing. They also tweeted "Never thought I'd say this, but sign out of twitter.com, now! There's a nice new homepage to check out." on their official Twitter account.

Not too long ago--maybe a few months, Twitter changed the design of the home page and apparently they wanted to perfect it. This new home page reveals a bit more about Twitter as well as the people using it. Trending topics are featured at the top, with a "Who's here" section on the left with some samplings of users, as well as Popular Tweets in the middle, and on the left the ability to sign up and learn more.

The new home page gives a better understanding to that large batch of people that have heard of Twitter, but can't really understand its main purpose or why they would actually want to use it. Oh and wow, congratulations to those three people featured in the screenshot from the Twitter blog.
