Well, after years of speculation, a day in January of confirmation, and months of anticipation... the iPad is here! The "revolutionary and magical" device finally made its way onto shelves in Apple store this morning at 9am eastern, when the store opened. All those who pre-ordered the device and those lucky enough to get one without previously ordering lined up today in front of Apple Stores all over the place to get their iPad. To the right is a picture of the crowd in front of the infamous Apple Store of New York City.

In celebration of the iPad, Apple's website at apple.com has gone 100% iPad for the occasion. iPad is here, see the TV ad, see all the apps, etc.
